Today's post is a a day in a life with me 💗 This is a day in my early summer holiday in June. First, let's be honest here. There's never enough hours in the day no matter how you spend your day but I wouldn't have it any other way: I love my life as it is 💗 Now that summer is here I am truly living my best life: enjoying slow mornings or early walks in the forest, spending time with my munchkin, playing football, travelling, spending time in our boat and exploring new places... and the list goes on!
I love these "day in the life peeks" so much so I hope you'll enjoy this.
MORNING
I got into a wake up early habit a few years ago but I got off the groove somewhere and started again.. This morning I woke up just before 6 when my husband was leaving for work. As a result of this and especially the noise coming from downstairs as my husband was packing up, my son woke up as well. So I decided to get up too. I went for a little walk in the forest. The point of this was to wake me up for the day. In the mean while my son was entertaining himself.
BREAKFAST
They say that breakfast is the most important meal and that suit just well for me because I never skip breakfast! You shouldn't too! I had some oat porridge, bread and an egg.
This day my son had a football camp so we left the house around 9.30 am.
WORK
I came back home and started to do a bit of work relating to my own business. I also enjoyed a cup of coffee. I know I shouldn't give into coffee as much as I have lately but this morning I couldn't resist 😉
DAYTIME/ WORKOUT
The day just whizzed past as we were spending time outside in our garden. My mother-in law visited us so we spent a lot of time with her. In the evening my son had another football training so me and my husband took a walk while he was in his practice. Therefore this day didn't include any real workout. Usually I have had football practices 2-3 times a week, plus a game on some weekends and I have been doing one HIIT training per week as well.
I have been practising chin ups again 😊
This picture was taken from my morning walk.
healthy snacks are a part of my daily life.
That was pretty much a day in my life.
As my summer holiday is quite long, I started studying a web course (Terveyden Tukipilarit 4: hormonit) about hormones, adrenal fatigue, thyroid problems, PMS, fatliver and insulin resistance. So far this course has been pretty interesting and it has expanded my knowledge a lot.
Lots of positive energy into your day,
Jennikatja
