My view on health is holistic. I believe in treating people as seeing everything from many perspectives. Wellness is a sum of the following things: sleep, rest, nutrition and exercise. If you want to feel good and healthy then you need to have enough rest, eat nutrient dense food and exercise on a regular basis. If you succeed in every area then you will feel great. On the other hand, if you are constantly sleep deprived you cannot expect your diet to fix everything. In addition your thoughts influence the way you think. If you are on a positive mindset then you will experience more positive outcomes. Positive thinking is very important to your health. Your mind is a powerful thing. Never expect anything less. Lastly, the relationship will have an impact on your health as well. Surround yourself with positive people who will support you on your way to a better health.
Your gut is your second brain. Did you know that 80 % of your immune system is in your gut? That is why it is so important to give your gut good food because your gut´s bacteria will eat the food that you will eat. Did you know that your brain and gut interact with each other? 80 % of the communication goes from gut to the brain and only 20 % from the brain into the gut. How amazing is that! If your gut is unbalanced and you feel bloated then your brains will feel that too. However, if you don´t have any digestive issues then you will probably feel good. What you will eat will affect how you will feel. You know this: if you eat unhealthy food, you will feel like crap.
Listen to your body
If you are feeling extremely stressed out after busy day at work sometimes it is better to skip intense workouts and do something which will balance your body better, such as yin yoga or a walk outside. Sometimes it is better to give your body a break. If you listen carefully your body will tell you what it needs.
You deserve the best
You only have one life and one body. Why not give it nutrient dense food, move it on a daily basis, embrace it and take care of it. Treat yourself how you would treat others. Your body is your temple. Respect it. You deserve to have an amazing life! Everyday is a new opportunity to make wise decisions.
