My Healthy Evening Routines

Previously I posted a post about  my healthy morning routines . As it has been one of my most popular posts, I decided to do a healthy evening routine post as well.  Usually my evening routines starts with a stretch or a foam roller session or sometimes I do yoga. This is just a quick relaxation moment and a mental note that it is time to start my evening routines. And I want to be honest: I don't always have time for this because I  need to take care of my family. But then I will stretch or use foam roll when I was Netflix. After stretching I take a shower or go to a sauna. If I have a sauna day, I will put on a honey mask. This is simple: just cleanse your face and put some honey on your face. After this, your skin will be very soft. The honey will disinfect and calm your skin if you have blemishes.  Then it's time for a dinner or a snack. Usually I eat a bit light in the evening. Read more here . So, what is it that I eat? If I have enough t...

My Healthy Morning Routines

What kind of morning rituals do you have on the weekends? In this post I will share mine. I try to follow a consistent sleep schedule in which I try to go to bed at 10 pm at the latest on the weekends and wake up at 7.30 at the latest. Having said this, if I stay up later than 10 pm I don't stress about it. But if I have a "normal" weekend at home this is what I usually do..I have found a lot of positive things about waking up early. Previously I wrote about  how waking up early made me more productive  and  how to become a morning person . I encourage you to try this! After I have woken up, I drink a glass of room temperature water which I have left in my toilet the previous night. Then it's time to move my body. This part of my morning is the best part which encourages me to wake up early. My morning movements depend on how I feel in that morning. Sometimes I go for a short walk or run just to get some fresh air and wake up my body. In my opi...

Smoothies or smoothie bowls are really popular nowadays and I can see the reason why: they are quick and easy to prepare and by consuming them you can add nutritional value to your day. Here’s a post to you about my favorite smoothies. Strawberry bliss Strawberries 1 frozen banana Water Protein powder * For some extra nutritional value you can add Maca powder * and Green powder *. Sweet Red Frozen lingonberries A cup of spinach Sunflower seeds Frozen banana Protein powder * Water (Maca powder, Green powder) Power Punch Blackcurrants A cup of Basil leaves Frozen banana Protein powder * Sunflower seeds Water Fresh and Sweet (includes dairy) 2dl quark Blueberries/raspberries Frozen banana Water Protein powder * I personally use just water as a liquid because I don’t use dairy or don’t want to waste my money on almond milk or oat milk. How to Recover from Pneumonia?

Recovery smoothie: berries, kale, banana, sunflower seeds, protein powder As I mentioned before, it has been a month since I got sick. I have to admit that, for me not being able to workout for WHOLE month, has been a struggle. But as my lungs improved and I was able to breathe normally, I decide that I would not give into darkness. Instead, I decided to think only positively. Because this condition that I am in now, won´t last long. Soon I will be able to walk, then do some yoga, then do some bodyweight training, then go for a quick run and finally be able to play football or do BodyCombat. I just have to embrace this situation. This thinking has really improved my rehabilitation (is that a right word for this case?) Well, anyway, here are my tips how to recover from (any) flu or pneumonia. Be patient! If you feel like you are ready to go outside and walk a bit, don´t do it! Go back to bed under your covers and rest another day. I cannot highlight this enough. And this was ve...
